ABOUT ME

​

Born in the heart of Belgium in 1973, my life has unfolded like a palette of colours and emotions. My journey into the world of self-expression has taught me to transcend traditional boundaries and embrace creativity in a unique way.

 

I graduated as a visual artist in 1994, but my path first led me to a career as a graphic designer. It wasn't until 2017 that I rediscovered my passion for painting and creating on canvas. This time it felt like coming home. In 2022 I was challenged to paint live during a performance of Socha on Fire (in collaboration with theatre Arsenaal). It was there that I discovered the magic of the performing arts and was appointed Visual Director of the Socha collective. As an artist, I do not limit myself to painting on canvas - I also bring my art to life on stage.

 

My work reflects my enigmatic soul and my deep love of diversity. I see art as a way to share the essence of my inner child with the world. My mission is to transform canvases into vibrant symphonies of colour. Each creation must be a dance of emotion, capturing the essence of the subject with an ethereal touch. My work speaks not only of the beauty around me, but also of the intricacies of the human heart and soul. In doing so, I hope to inspire introspection and connection.
